Kevin McGeeney
Kevin McGeeney is one of the founders of SCB Group in 2006, its Chief Executive Officer and Board Director.
Kevin is a well-known commentator on environmental markets issues and regularly speaks at international conferences all over the globe, on CNBC television and in print media, such as the Wall Street Journal.
Prior to the establishment of SCB Group, he spent 15 years as an investment banker in London, New York and Tokyo.
Kevin holds Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Economic Science degrees from University College Dublin.
Bethanie Castelnuovo
Bethanie Castelnuovo is the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Board Director of SCB Group.
Bethanie leads women’s adventure events at SCB and runs the @SCBSheCanBe women’s network.
Prior to joining SCB, Bethanie spent 12 years working for Big 4 accountancy firms – EY and KPMG in the United States and Switzerland managing global audit engagements.
Bethanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Massachusetts, a KPMG Executive MBA from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and has recently completed an MSc in Taxation at Oxford University.
Frits Vogels
Frits Vogels held the post of CEO for the EMEA region at TP-ICAP. He was also the EMEA head of the Global Broking division.
During his 27-year career, Frits was a driving force in building and managing the globally leading rates franchise at ICAP. He was also responsible for the European Equities, Bonds and Energy divisions.
Prior to working for TP-ICAP, Frits held roles in the Dutch Ministry of Finance and banking. Frits joined SCB’s Board in November 2020 and is its chairman, supporting the executive management team at SCB on its ambitious growth journey.
Carlota Garcia-Manas
Carlota Garcia-Manas is the Head of Engagement at Royal London Asset Management.
Prior to her work at SCB, Carlota was Senior Analyst and Deputy Head of Engagement at the Church of England National Investing Bodies and was a Board member of the Church Investor Group.
Carlota holds an MSc in Civil Engineering and Environmental Economics from the University of Granada and the University of London.
Carlota is a Non-Executive Director at SCB and chairs the Sustainability Committee, where she advises on Corporate Governance and Sustainability, with particular emphasis on ESG regulatory matters and market trends.
Bill Laneville
Bill Laneville is a highly experienced financial professional with an impressive track record of success spanning more than 30 years of leadership. Bill spent ten years as the Financial Controller for the Vitol Group of Companies, where he was responsible for the Group’s external reporting, internal controlling and analysis, and statutory financial reporting.
Prior to Vitol, Bill spent almost two decades with KPMG, including as the Managing Partner of KPMG’s Geneva, Switzerland office, as well as the partner in charge of that office’s audit practice.
Bill has a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Accounting from the University of Minnesota. He was previously a US Certified Public Accountant.
