SCB announces that its esteemed SCB Board Member, Louise Evans, steps down from the Board of SCB. Louise first joined SCB in February 2020.

Ms Evans’ professional career encompasses roles as Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee chair at AB Dynamics, Gooch & Housego; the International Foundation for Aids to Navigation; and a committee position with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

“We are grateful to Louise for helping guide us through a period of tremendous global crisis. Within a month of Louise joining, the COVID pandemic changed society. Just as the world appeared to be back together, the terrible war in Ukraine started, and energy-led inflation gripped the financial markets. Through it all, Louise was a source of calm and steadfast vision.” Said Kevin McGeeney, CEO SCB, who added, “we are honoured to have worked with Louise.”

Commenting about her time working with SCB, the world-leading low carbon company, Louise said:

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Kevin, Joachim, Beth and the wider team… SCB’s agility and ability to flex and change to grasp emerging opportunities is absolutely fantastic.  It should be the norm, but it is not common at all.

“I have genuinely enjoyed learning more about the low carbon sector and the fast-moving change and evolution of the markets.”

Louise departs the Board effective September 30th, 2022.
