SCB Carbon’s Wassim Sahibi shared insights on Digital Carbon Markets as a guest speaker at an event hosted by KlimaDAO. The online event was attended by around 200 participants, with registrations from around 59 countries.

In summarising SCB’s project development and carbon trading on Digital Carbon Markets, Wassim highlights:

    shorten the loop between demand side participants and carbon project developers.

     

  • Digital carbon has unique characteristics
    that can assist with sourcing and transparency in the market.

     

  • The infrastructure already exists to retire digital carbon, redeem specific projects
    from carbon pools, and soon, bring new
    carbon on chain.
